Details: On Tuesday, September 10, it was officially announced that Aston Martin successfully signed a long-term contract with Adrian Newey. He will join the British manufacturer as a managing technical partner, starting his role on March 1, 2025.
Aston Martin provided Newey with a tour of their new factory, which became a decisive factor for the engineer. He will have access to the brand-new facility.

He is considered one of the greatest engineers in Formula 1 history. Newey's designs have won numerous titles and over 200 Grand Prix races. He is also one of the most successful designers, having won twelve Constructors' Championships with three different F1 teams.
Moreover, seven different drivers have won thirteen Drivers' Championships using Newey's designs.
The RB19, designed by Newey, is the most successful Formula 1 car in history, winning 21 out of 22 races (95.45%) it participated in. Newey's designs also claimed CART titles in 1985 and 1986.
