Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has informed the club's management that if he leaves next summer, he wants to continue his career at Arsenal. This comes as a major blow to Manchester United, who had identified the 23-year-old German as a priority target to strengthen their attack.

Details: According to the Mirror, Manchester United have already contacted the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, but Dortmund have set Adeyemi's price tag at £75 million—more than United are willing to pay. The German himself prefers the London club over the Red Devils.

Negotiations over a new contract with Borussia have also stalled, and the player is open to the idea of changing clubs. The situation was further complicated by a recent scandal: Adeyemi was fined €450,000 for possessing prohibited items—a knuckle duster and a stun gun—which he acquired after a failed “mystery box” purchase online. The player publicly apologized, expressing deep regret for what happened and saying he has learned from the incident.

Borussia head coach Niko Kovač confirmed that the club will not impose any additional sanctions. According to him, the incident is closed, and the player will continue preparing for Bundesliga matches without restriction.

This season, the German has made fifteen appearances for Dortmund, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

Recall: Borussia Dortmund have joined the race for Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi.
