Adama Traoré receives strict gym ban from coaching staff. What's behind the decision?
The Spanish midfielder has been advised to focus on more gymnastic work rather than strength training.
Details: According to L’Équipe, West Ham's head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has forbidden his 30-year-old winger Adama Traoré from hitting the gym, fearing the Spaniard could bulk up too much.

Santo believes Traoré's physique is already exceptional and that further strength training would only be detrimental to his footballing performance:
"His physical attributes and genetics are simply amazing, but he should avoid the gym. I've already told him he can't go there. He lifts too much weight," Santo said.
Traoré, for his part, reassured his coach by saying he doesn't lift heavy weights, but agreed that he should focus more on cardio work.
Adama Traoré joined West Ham in January this year from Fulham for €2.3 million. He has made five appearances for the Hammers so far, but is yet to register a goal or assist.
