Actor Kusem Goodwind thanks LeBron James for producing film about Native Americans
Actor Kusem Goodwind expressed his gratitude to LeBron James, whose production company was behind the film Rez Ball, released on Netflix in September 2024, reports TMZ. Goodwind played the lead role in the movie, which he sees as highly significant for the Native American community.
The sports drama focuses on a high school basketball team of Native Americans who, despite losing their star player, continue their fight for the state championship title.
Goodwind shared his pride in being part of the project, emphasizing its importance in shedding light on the experiences of Native American athletes.
He also warmly thanked LeBron James and SpringHill Production, the company that produced Rez Ball.
“I'm just grateful for SpringHill production for being a part of a project like this because this means so much to a lot of Native people. I couldn't say 'thank you' enough to all his people”, Goodwind said.
