Actor from the Ted Lasso series prepares to make his professional football debut
Several years ago, a series that would eventually become a cult hit premiered on screens — Ted Lasso. One of the actors has actually decided to try his hand at professional football.
Details: According to KTSM 9 News, actor Cristo Fernández, who played the role of Dani Rojas, is currently training with USL Championship side Locomotive. Moreover, he played 30 minutes in a friendly match that took place over the weekend.
The USL Championship is a men’s professional football league at the second tier of the United States league system. It is organized by the United Soccer League (USL) as its premier men’s competition above USL League One.
