Academy graduate returns! Real Madrid make final decision on star defender
Real Madrid’s management has made the final and definitive decision to activate the buy-back clause for promising centre-back Jacobo Ramon in the summer of 2027.
According to respected insider Matteo Moretto, the return of the 21-year-old academy graduate is now 100 percent settled. Activating the special option will cost the Spanish giants less than €9 million, an investment the club’s hierarchy considers incredibly profitable given the player’s high value.
The talented centre-back’s future will be decided after his official return to the Santiago Bernabéu. The Madrid club will either keep Ramon with the first team or consider selling him to the Premier League, where a number of leading clubs are monitoring the defender and are ready to offer a substantial fee for the Spaniard.
It is worth noting that Jacobo Ramon came through every level of Real Madrid’s youth system, La Fábrica, and in 2024 became a European U19 champion with Spain.
