ACA Opens Registration for African Clubs CAF Online

The African Club Association (ACA) has launched its membership registration platform for football clubs across all 54 CAF member nations. According to BSNSports.com.ng, the process is now open to all Premier League and First Division teams, allowing them to secure an official ACA membership number and gain access to the organisation’s full benefits.

Each club is required to pay an annual fee of $1,000 to participate. ACA Chairman, Eng. Hersi Said, described the move as a major step toward bringing African clubs together under one influential body that can protect their shared interests. He said the launch "marks a significant milestone toward professionalising African club football,” adding that the association aims to support development, improve governance and strengthen commercial opportunities for teams.

The initiative is seen as an important effort to reshape the future of African football, particularly as clubs continue to push for greater recognition, financial stability and stronger representation in global football matters. Clubs across the continent have been encouraged to register early and take part in building a more unified and empowered football community.
