AC Milan, one of Italy's football giants, is planning to enter the transfer market in January and acquire several players.

According to the renowned Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the Rossoneri aim to sign two central defenders.

These plans are evidently due to the current situation in the defensive lineup. Five players, capable of playing at the center of defense, are currently sidelined. Malik Tiav, Pierre Kalulu, Marco Pellegri, Simon Kjaer, and Mattia Caldara are unable to assist the team. Essentially, Stefano Pioli only has Fikayo Tomori available as a pure center-back.

Previously, financial difficulties have been reported for Milan due to the impending repayment of a substantial loan left by the previous owners.

There were also reports indicating Milan's interest in signing the legendary Bayern Munich player Thomas Müller.

The Rossoneri currently occupy third place in the Serie A table after 15 games played. Stefano Pioli's team failed to advance to the Champions League playoffs, finishing third in their group.
