AC Milan is set to buy a young defender from Real Madrid

Milan has decided to buy the right-back Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri have reached a premature agreement to purchase the player for less than 5 million euros.

The left-back will turn 19 in May. The young footballer has already played five matches for Milan's senior team in Serie A (3 matches) and the Coppa Italia (2 games).

The 19-year-old Spaniard arrived on loan with an option to buy for 5 million euros, but it is claimed that the Rossoneri have decided not to wait until the end of the season. Instead, they managed to reach an agreement with Real Madrid prematurely for a transfer fee slightly below 5 million euros.

The contract of the Spanish U-19 international with the Royal Club expires in 2027. Transfermarkt values the player at 3 million euros.

Earlier, it was reported that Milan are ready to let their goalkeeper go, but only for a solid sum.
