Negotiations between Bayern Munich and the current head coach of the Austrian national team, Ralph Rangnick, are at an advanced stage. It appears that his appointment will be officially announced in the coming days.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich does not view Rangnick as a temporary coach and does not plan to wait for Xabi Alonso to change his decision. Rangnick's contract with the Munich club will be calculated until the summer of 2026 with an option to extend for another year.

As a reminder, the current head coach of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel, will officially leave the team after the end of the season.
