Another trophy for the 30-year-old Spaniard.
Details: Today, the official English Premier League account on X announced that Arsenal’s 30-year-old Spanish goalkeeper David Raya is guaranteed to win the Golden Glove award for the 2025/26 season.
The reason is simple: Raya has already kept 17 clean sheets in the Premier League, while his closest challenger, Gianluigi Donnarumma, has managed 13. With Manchester City having four matches left in the campaign, Donnarumma can only match Raya’s tally, not surpass it. However, if Raya secures just one more shutout, he will clinch the award outright.
Regardless, this marks David Raya’s third Golden Glove of his career. He now joins an elite group of just four goalkeepers in Premier League history to win the Golden Glove three seasons in a row—a feat previously achieved only by Pepe Reina, Joe Hart, and Ederson.
