Absence of 4 players from the Al-Ahli list before going to Qatar
Four important players are absent from Al-Ahli's squad before traveling to Qatar for the Intercontinental Championship, namely goalkeeper Mustafa Shober, Mohammed Hani and Ali Maaloul due to injury.
Mustafa Shober suffers from a pulled back muscle injury, while Mohamed Hani suffers from a cruciate ligament injury, and Karim Fouad continues rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury, while performing on the last stage of rehabilitation from an Achilles tendon injury.
For his part, the coaching staff of Al-Ahli Club, led by Swiss Marcel Kohler, closed the page of the African Champions League matches "temporarily" after a negative draw with Orlando Pirates, the South African champion at home, in preparation for the most important match this season in the Intercontinental Cup for clubs.
