Abdourahmane Mbodji joins FC Metz

The Senegalese striker will play for the French club next season.
Abdourahmane Mbodji had been on the radar of several European clubs since his performances at the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations. But the 18-year-old Senegalese has chosen FC Metz for his European debut.
Currently the top scorer in the Senegalese Ligue 1 for the 2025–2026 season with Generation Foot, Abdourahmane Mbodji will officially join Metz next season. The Senegalese player will join the French club’s first team when the league resumes. He will play in Ligue 2 with FC Metz, whose relegation has been officially confirmed.
Abdourahmane Mbodji will have the opportunity to prove his talent and continue his professional development.
