Abdoulaye Camara joins AFC Ajax
The Dutch club and Udinese have reached an agreement for a one-season loan with an option to buy the young Guinean midfielder.
Abdoulaye Camara is therefore leaving Italy for the Netherlands. Having made his debut for Udinese’s first team in Serie A last season, the 17-year-old Guinean-born midfielder will be playing in a new league this season.
He is joining AFC Ajax in the Netherlands on a temporary basis for the 2026–2027 season. The Dutch club confirmed the young Guinean’s transfer on Saturday 22 August.
“Ajax has reached an agreement with Udinese and Abdoulaye Camara regarding the loan of the 17-year-old midfielder. The loan is for one season and includes an option to buy for Ajax. Camara’s transfer is still subject to formalities. ”
Once his transfer is finalised, Abdoulaye Camara will play for Ajax’s U23 team. If the young Guinean manages to impress the Dutch club’s management at the end of his loan spell, he is unlikely to return to Udinese.
