Abdallah Sima ends his goal drought
The Senegalese forward hadn’t found the back of the net since October 2025.
However, Abdallah Sima has put an end to this run of goalless matches. The Senegalese striker made his mark on Friday 24 April during matchday 30 of the French Ligue 1. He played a key role in RC Lens’s spectacular draw against Brest.
Trailing 3-0, Lens were able to rely on their attack to fight back. One of the architects of this performance was Abdallah Sima. The Senegalese international scored his team’s second goal in the 64th minute, bringing the score to 3-2. This goal ended a goal drought for the Senegalese player. Indeed, Abdallah Sima’s last goal for RC Lens had come on 4 October 2025. He now has two goals and two assists in 17 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
