The Juventus head coach was furious with the refereeing decisions in yesterday’s match against Lazio.

Details: After Turin's Juventus drew 2-2 with Rome's Lazio in Serie A’s 26th round, the Bianconeri’s 66-year-old head coach Luciano Spalletti gave a post-match interview in which he explained in an unorthodox fashion why the rules are too strict and why not every contact in the penalty area should result in a penalty kick.

Spalletti was unhappy with the referee's performance despite his team coming back from 0-2 down. Luciano argued that the current penalty rules are too harsh, as referees often award penalties for even the slightest contact in the box. In the heat of his speech, Spalletti leaned over to the journalist and kissed her on the cheek, remarking that this was also a contact, but not one worthy of a penalty:

“Pressure from a kick, a handball that no one in the stadium sees but everyone zooms in on with the cameras—these all allow for different interpretations. You can’t generalize that every contact is a penalty.”

At the moment, Turin's Juventus sit in fourth place in Serie A with 46 points. The Old Lady’s next match is away against Inter Milan on February 14.

Reminder: The future of the Bianconeri! Kenan Yildiz to sign new long-term contract with Juventus
