In the 19th round of Serie A, Cremonese striker Jamie Vardy found the net in the 29th minute against Cagliari, making it 2-0 and marking a significant career milestone with that goal.
Details: According to Opta, Cremonese's English forward Jamie Vardy has now scored 150 goals in the so-called Big-5 European leagues. Impressively, 116 of those goals have come after he turned 30.
Since January 2017, among players with at least as many goals, only Cristiano Ronaldo (born in 1985) is older than Vardy (born in 1987). Vardy continues to prove that age is just a number.
Notably, this is already the English striker's fifth goal in fifteen Serie A appearances this season.
After the break, Cremonese continued to maintain their 2-0 lead.
Reminder: Petar Ratkov has officially joined Lazio.
