Santos star Neymar finally made his return to the field after a month and a half sidelined due to injury. The footballer came on as a substitute in the Brazilian championship match against Fluminense, featuring the legendary Thiago Silva.
Neymar shared several touching photos with the renowned defender on his Instagram story. He captioned them with, “Great to see you, my brother! Love you!”

Despite Neymar's return, it didn’t help Santos secure a victory. In the match against Fluminense, they suffered another defeat, conceding a decisive goal in stoppage time.
Following this loss, Santos fell into the relegation zone, with only 1 point from 3 matches played. Meanwhile, Fluminense currently holds 5th place in the standings.
It’s worth noting that Neymar and Thiago Silva have played together for years in the Brazilian national team, including in the 2014, 2018, and 2022 World Cups. Additionally, Silva participated in the 2019 Copa America, where Brazil emerged victorious, unlike Neymar, who missed the tournament due to another injury.
