A third attempt? Real Madrid are considering bringing Zidane back

Real Madrid have gone three matches without a win, and Xabi Alonso’s position is beginning to look unstable, prompting a wave of differing reports.

Details: According to Indykaila News, the Real Madrid hierarchy are now exploring the option of bringing Zinedine Zidane back to the dugout. The Frenchman, who has already managed the club twice, could return as an interim head coach if the board decide to dismiss Alonso.

Zidane led Real Madrid from 2016 to 2018 and again from 2019 to 2021. During those spells he won 11 trophies, including three UEFA Champions League titles.

Earlier we reported that several key Real Madrid players have staged a revolt, urging the club’s leadership to dismiss head coach Xabi Alonso.

Reminder: Vinicius is reportedly struggling to find common ground with the Galácticos’ manager.
