Chelsea continues its search for a replacement for Rosenior.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, the management of London’s Chelsea is seriously considering 37-year-old Italian head coach of Porto, Francesco Farioli, as a replacement for the recently dismissed Liam Rosenior.
Reports indicate that Farioli’s fantastic achievements in his very first season at Porto have caught the attention of the “Blues” hierarchy, who are still struggling to settle on a new head coach candidate.
Farioli took charge of Porto in the summer of 2025 and is on the verge of leading the team to the league title in his debut campaign. He has overseen 50 matches at the helm of the “Dragons,” racking up 37 wins, 8 draws, and 5 losses. His contract with the Portuguese giants runs until 2028.
Previously, Farioli managed clubs such as Karagümrük, Alanyaspor, Nice, and Ajax.
