Formula 1 is a magnet for sports stars, and footballers are no exception. While Jürgen Klopp attended the Austrian Grand Prix, another legendary coach made an appearance at practice in Silverstone.
Details: Broadcast cameras caught former Chelsea and Manchester United manager José Mourinho in the paddock. Interestingly, the Portuguese coach was spotted watching the action from the Ferrari pit box, and it was the Scuderia’s own Lewis Hamilton who topped the timesheets in the first practice session.
Reminder: The main sessions take place on Saturday (qualifying) and Sunday (the race itself). The Ferrari driver, racing for the Italian squad, has yet to step onto the podium this season, but the home race at Silverstone is his crown jewel—since 2014, he’s never finished lower than third here. In fact, the seven-time world champion is the reigning British Grand Prix winner.
