The triumph of Inter Miami in the MLS Eastern Conference final turned into a true star-studded event. Spanish tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz made an appearance at the match, having previously been spotted at Miami Heat basketball games.
Details: Alcaraz received a warm welcome from the crowd and was greeted with applause as he stepped out to present the trophy. Just before the ceremony, the Spaniard was gifted a special Inter Miami jersey with the number 99 and the nickname "Carlitos" on the back. Ultimately, it was Alcaraz who handed over the Eastern Conference Champion's Cup to club owner Jorge Mas.
In the MLS Eastern Conference final, Inter Miami routed New York City and, for the first time in club history, claimed the conference title.
It's worth noting that in the MLS final, Inter Miami will now face Vancouver, whose squad features the legendary Thomas Müller.
Reminder: Messi, after providing an assist against New York City, became the greatest playmaker in football history.
