Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane created a special moment for the fans ahead of the Bundesliga home clash with Borussia Dortmund. The Englishman walked out to the stands at the Allianz Arena and presented the Ballon d’Or he had won to the club’s supporters.
The striker did more than simply show off the prestigious trophy, also addressing the fans with an emotional speech. Kane stressed that achieving such heights in his career would have been far more difficult without their support.
“I am extremely proud to be a Bayern player. Without your support, I would never have been able to achieve what I have achieved. This Ballon d’Or is for you!” the Englishman said.
Winning the vote for the world’s best footballer for the 2025/26 season was a historic moment for the Munich club. Kane became the first Bayern player in the past 45 years to receive the award. The last representative of the team to reach such a pinnacle was Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1981.
