A sensational start to life in the Super Lig: Mohamed Salah is racking up the stats with Trabzonspor

Having arrived in Turkey this summer, the Egyptian striker is showing impressive attacking efficiency in the league.

Mohamed Salah found the net once again for Trabzonspor against Genclerbirligi on Sunday 6 September in the Super Lig. He scored from the penalty spot in the 14th minute to make it 2–0.

This goal continues what has already been a remarkable run for the Egyptian striker since his arrival in the Turkish league. Prior to his goal on 6 September, Salah had already scored a brace against Başakşehir, as well as a goal against Amedspor.

Thanks to this performance, Mohamed Salah has become the first foreign player to score four goals in his first three starts for Trabzonspor since the 2000–2001 season, according to Opta. Having made history at Liverpool, the Egyptian international is already making an immediate impact at his new club.
