A Senegalese international is set to join Hull City for €25 million
Defender Nobel Mendy is on the verge of signing for the English club promoted to the Premier League.
Nobel Mendy is set to begin a new chapter in his young career. The 21-year-old Senegalese international is expected to leave Rayo Vallecano to join Hull City.
The English club, which will be competing in the Premier League next season, has decided to invest in the Senegalese player, who put in some fine performances last season in La Liga whilst playing for Rayo Vallecano.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Nobel Mendy’s transfer fee stands at 25 million euros. The deal also includes a 12.5% sell-on clause for the Senegalese international. Rayo Vallecano would therefore retain a financial stake in any future transfer of the 21-year-old.
Real Betis, Nobel Mendy’s former club, will not be left out of this deal. The Spanish club will receive 20% of the transfer fee.
