Italian side Roma have emerged as the frontrunners in the race to sign Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens on loan during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Details: According to respected British transfer insider Graeme Bailey, the Blues’ hierarchy have given the green light for the young winger to leave on loan at the beginning of next year in order to secure regular playing time. At the Stadio Olimpico, the pacey Englishman is seen as an excellent opportunity to add variety to the team’s attacking options and bring greater aggression to the flanks as they battle for a high finish in Serie A.

It is worth noting that Jamie Gittens came through the youth systems at Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, earning a reputation as one of England’s most explosive and technically gifted young wingers thanks to his impressive dribbling ability and constant desire to take on defenders.
