A historic moment unfolded today in Asian football.

Details: In the second leg of the AFC-2 Champions League semi-final, Sydney defeated Singapore's Lion City 1-0 at home but was eliminated from the tournament due to a 0-2 defeat away.

As a result, Lion City became the first club from Singapore to reach the final of a continental competition.

In the final, Lion City will face UAE's Al-Sharjah.

Interestingly, in the last 16, Lion City lost 1-6 away to Japan's Sanfrecce Hiroshima but was awarded a 3-0 technical victory due to the participation of Valère Germain, who was previously suspended.

Reminder: It was reported today that Paul Pogba might become a player for Al-Ittihad.
