San Antonio Spurs' basketball player, Victor Wembanyama, has eclipsed a record that endured for three decades, as reported by NBA History.

In a regular-season match against Cleveland, the center, Victor Wembanyama, showcased a stellar performance, accumulating 24 points, ten rebounds, three assists, and executing five blocked shots. Consequently, he becomes the first NBA player in the last 30 years to achieve 100 blocked shots within the initial 35 games of his career.

Prior to this accomplishment, only five basketball players managed such a feat: Sean Bradley (1993/94), Alonzo Mourning (1992/93), Shaquille O'Neal (1992/93), Manute Bol (1985/86), and Terry Tyler (1978/79).

Wembanyama, a French professional basketball player renowned for his prowess as a power forward and center, currently graces the roster of the San Antonio Spurs and the French national team. He held the distinction of being the top pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and stands as the tallest active NBA player at 224 cm, alongside Boban Marjanović.

On the night of July 8, 2023, Wembanyama made his debut in the NBA Summer League against the Charlotte Hornets, amassing nine points, eight rebounds, three assists, and five blocked shots.
