A once-in-a-lifetime chance! Alvaro Arbeloa could take charge of Real Madrid’s first team if Xabi Alonso is sacked

Real Madrid are currently going through a challenging period, and everything could change at any moment.

Details: According to ESPN, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez understands that sacking Xabi Alonso might become inevitable if the team’s poor run continues.

Based on this, the club’s management has decided to start searching for candidates to replace Xabi Alonso. However, Florentino Perez has already stated that he has found the right person: 42-year-old Real Madrid Castilla head coach Alvaro Arbeloa.

It is reported that Perez personally told Arbeloa that he sees him as Alonso’s successor.

Arbeloa began his coaching career in 2020 and has since worked exclusively within Real Madrid’s structure. He previously led the Galacticos’ youth teams, and in July this year, Arbeloa was appointed head coach of Real Madrid Castilla.

At the moment, Real Madrid sit second in La Liga, having won just one of their last five matches. According to media reports, Xabi Alonso could be dismissed as soon as the day after tomorrow if Real fail to beat Manchester City in the Champions League.
