A new training camp for Ivory Coast's U17s ahead of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations
The camp officially began on Monday
This is the third training camp in preparation for the tournament.
Ivory Coast's U17 national team is in full swing as it prepares to compete in this year's Africa Cup of Nations. After the Ivorian Football Federation conducted MRI scans on the young players, they entered a new stage of their preparation.
Since Monday 16 February 2026, the Ivorian U17s have been back at the National Football Technical Centre in Bingerville, Abidjan, to prepare for the 2026 AFCON. A total of 25 players have been called up for this training camp. During this external training camp, coach Diabaté Bassiriki and his staff will work on physical conditioning, tactical organisation, collective discipline and group cohesion.
