The American club has announced the signing of the European Champion.
Details: Today, on the official website and on social media X, Columbus Crew announced that 32-year-old Portuguese midfielder André Gomes has officially joined the team.
It is reported that Gomes arrives at Columbus Crew as a free agent and has signed a contract running until the summer of 2027.

Gomes' previous club was French side Lille, which he left in the fall of 2024 after making 26 appearances and scoring one goal.
Throughout his career, Gomes has played for teams such as Benfica, Valencia, Barcelona, and Everton. In 2016, André Gomes was part of the Portugal squad that triumphed at the European Championship, winning his first and only major trophy with the national team.
André Gomes' transfer value is currently estimated at €4.5 million by Transfermarkt.
