A new era for the Indian national team. Shubman Gill to become captain as squad set for overhaul

The cricketing community has been rocked by news of radical changes within India's national team.

Details: According to Banrakasʼ, Shubman Gill is set to be named the new captain in the T20 format. This move is part of a sweeping BCCI strategy to rejuvenate the squad immediately after the conclusion of the current IPL season.

The headline story for the upcoming series against Ireland will be the debut of young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Alongside him, the revamped T20 roster is expected to feature Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mukul Choudhary, Prince Yadav, and Ayush Matre.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is no longer willing to gamble on players with inconsistent performances. The new priority is given to those ready to deliver consistent results from the very first matches, rather than waiting for a chance throughout the tournament.
