A new era for the capital club. Historic changes are coming at Paris FC
Long-serving Paris FC president Pierre Ferracci will step down in the very near future, handing over the reins to majority shareholder Antoine Arnault.
Details: According to respected French broadcaster RMC Sport, 47-year-old Antoine Arnault, the son of global business empire founder Bernard Arnault, could officially take the president’s seat within the next few weeks. The reshuffle will mark the final step in the transfer of power following the recent acquisition of a controlling stake in the club by France’s wealthiest family.
With the influential dynasty taking charge, the club is set for a full-scale reboot of its sporting project. The new owners are working in close partnership with global holding company Red Bull and are targeting multi-million-euro investments in infrastructure and the squad, hoping to mount a genuine challenge to Paris Saint-Germain on the domestic scene in the shortest possible time.
It is worth noting that Pierre Ferracci led Paris FC for more than 12 years, saving the club from bankruptcy and turning it into a regular contender for promotion to France’s top flight. The transfer of control to the Arnault family is intended to open an entirely new chapter in the history of the capital’s football, with ambitions of competing for European silverware.
Reminder: Rudy Matondo extends his contract with Paris FC until 2030
