A new club for Mateta? Juventus show interest in Crystal Palace forward

Jean-Philippe Mateta, currently playing for Crystal Palace, has once again caught the attention of a top Italian club.

Details: According to Tuttosport, Juventus are closely monitoring the situation around the 28-year-old striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Frenchman has long been eager to leave the Eagles and test himself at a top-tier club.

Last summer, Milan showed interest in the player, but a €40 million price tag proved too steep for the Rossoneri. However, the situation has now changed: Mateta's current contract with Crystal Palace runs until the summer of 2027, and he is determined not to extend it.

Juventus are prepared to spend €20–25 million on the forward, viewing him as a direct replacement for Dušan Vlahović. This season, Mateta has already featured in 32 matches, netting 10 goals and providing two assists.
