A new challenge! Atalanta signs a Premier League player
Serie A is about to welcome another fresh face.
Details: According to David Ornstein, Atalanta's management has successfully reached an agreement to sign 23-year-old Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The deal, as reported by the source, will be worth €17.5 million, with an additional bonus system of €4 million and 15% of any future sale of the player—terms that satisfied Southampton's board.
Sulemana's contract with Atalanta will be for four years, with an option to extend for a further year. The player himself has already cut his vacation short and is heading to Bergamo for his medical examination.
Kamaldeen Sulemana joined Southampton in 2023 from French side Rennes for €25 million and quickly became one of the team's key players.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian featured in 30 matches last season, scoring 2 goals—one in the Premier League and another in the FA Cup. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €13 million.
