French superstar midfielder Paul Pogba is preparing to continue his career in North America's top soccer league.

Details: The 33-year-old midfielder, who became a free agent after terminating his contract with Monaco in August, is highly likely to join one of the MLS clubs. The Frenchman's representatives have already contacted several teams in the American league.

In recent months, New York City, DC United and Inter Miami have all shown interest in signing the 2018 World Cup winner. The player himself is attracted by the prospect of moving to the United States, where he hopes to become a key figure in a new project.

Monaco acknowledged that the initial objectives of the year-long partnership had only been partially fulfilled, prompting both parties to agree to end their cooperation early by mutual consent at the end of the summer.

US clubs see the midfielder not only as a top-class orchestrator in the center of the pitch, but also as a huge media draw capable of attracting fans.

It is worth noting that Paul Pogba spent the 2025/26 season in France's Ligue 1 with Monaco, returning to top-level football after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The authoritative Transfermarkt portal values the 33-year-old midfielder's current market worth at €2 million.
