Bayern Munich have received a major boost just hours before their crucial Champions League showdown against Atletico Madrid! Michael Olise has returned to training despite suffering a knee injury, while veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has also rejoined his teammates. Both could now be available for Tuesday's encounter.

Details: According to MatchDay Central, Olise participated in Monday's training session with his right knee heavily bandaged. The French winger had been forced off during Bayern's dramatic 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. Initial concerns suggested he could miss the trip to Spain, but his return represents an encouraging development.

Neuer also took part in the session after missing the Dortmund clash because of a foot problem. His involvement provides another positive signal for Bayern, although neither player's participation against Atletico has been officially guaranteed.

The Bavarians are dealing with a serious injury crisis. Serge Gnabry and Ismael Saibari were also injured against Dortmund, while Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz remain unavailable. Losing Olise would leave Bayern with even fewer attacking options for an important European fixture.

According to L'Equipe, Olise's knee injury is not considered serious, but Bayern are unwilling to take unnecessary risks. The coaching staff must assess his condition before making a final decision. Bayern will face Atletico Madrid on November 3 at the Metropolitano, with valuable Champions League points at stake.

Reminder: Bayern suffered a major injury crisis when their attacking leader was forced off during the 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
