A Milanese roadblock! Barcelona's dream of signing Italy's best wing-back is collapsing

Barcelona's attempts to lure key Inter Milan and Italy left-back Federico Dimarco have reached an impasse after the Nerazzurri made a firm decision to keep the player.

Details: According to Spanish outlet SPORT, the Nerazzurri have secured the future of the 28-year-old, guaranteeing his stay at the club until at least June 2028. Moreover, the Milan giants are already planning to open negotiations over an even longer contract on improved terms, as the defender is fully committed to his boyhood club and has no intention of leaving.

Earlier, Barcelona had been working in detail on a swap deal, hoping to include Spanish defender Alejandro Balde along with a substantial cash fee. However, Inter's categorical refusal to enter any negotiations has destroyed the Blaugrana's transfer plans, forcing the club to look for other options to strengthen the flank.

It is worth noting that Milan native and Inter academy graduate Federico Dimarco has won Serie A titles with the Nerazzurri and established himself as one of the most consistent and dangerous attacking full-backs in world football.
