A major hunt in Dortmund! Manchester United tracking four Borussia stars
English giants Manchester United have launched a major scouting operation in the German Bundesliga, sending their leading scouts to Borussia Dortmund’s clash with Bayern Munich to monitor four players at once.
Details: According to sports outlet TEAMtalk, representatives of the Old Trafford club were in the stands for the match, which ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw. The English scouts were keeping a close eye on striker Serhou Guirassy, midfielders Jobe Bellingham and Felix Nmecha, as well as full-back Daniel Svensson.
At the same time, the Manchester club’s hierarchy has divided its interest in the players according to the potential timing of any transfers. Svensson is viewed as a realistic target for the upcoming summer transfer window, while striking deals for Guirassy, Bellingham or Nmecha in January, midway through the season, would be extremely difficult due to the German club’s firm stance.
It is worth noting that Manchester United have a long history of transfers with Borussia Dortmund: the Red Devils have previously signed Shinji Kagawa, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jadon Sancho directly from the Black and Yellows.
