One of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks, Brett Favre, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with an incurable disease.

Details: During a U.S. Congressional hearing on a welfare fraud case, Favre announced that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Quote: "Unfortunately, I also lost investments in a company that I believed was developing groundbreaking concussion treatments, which I thought would help others. I’m sure you’ll understand, though it’s too late for me as I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but this cause remains close to my heart," Favre stated.

Favre is also facing allegations of misusing federal welfare funds.

Reminder: Favre is the first player in NFL history to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title three times in a row (1995-1997), according to the Associated Press.

With 186 career victories (in the regular season, plus an additional 13 wins in the playoffs), Favre holds the record as the quarterback with the most wins in NFL history, and the only one to have defeated all 32 teams in the league.

In related news, the official NFL account recently shared a video showing Antoine Griezmann playing a 1-on-1 American football match with San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel.
