Tennis player Danielle Collins performed a good deed during the Miami Open tournament in Florida. She saved a dog that had been hit by a car from death and adopted it, as she shared on her Instagram page.

Last Saturday, Collins saw a dog that had been hit by a car on the road and took it to a veterinary clinic. After undergoing the necessary medical procedures, the athlete was able to take the dog home.

Later, she informed her fans that she decided to adopt the dog and named him Crash.

“His breathing is back to normal, his wounds are healing, and he's definitely enjoying all the love he's receiving. He's curious, affectionate and grateful for a second chance at life. It was so incredibly painful to witness a dog in so much pain after being hit by a car and left in the middle of the road with so many people driving by his curled up body. I'm just grateful I was able to be there and get him the care he needed,” Collins shared.

It should be added that the tennis player is currently also dealing with personal health issues — endometriosis and infertility.
