A key Atalanta player has agreed to join Juventus. But it's not that simple

The primary midfielder of Atalanta, Teun Koopmeiners, has agreed to join Juventus.

According to La Gazetta dello Sport, the player has given his preliminary consent to move to the Turin club, but not everything in this story depends on his desire.

It is noted that the club from Bergamo hopes to fetch around 60 million euros for their leader. It is far from certain that the Bianconeri will manage such a sum.

Several months ago, the 25-year-old Dutchman extended his contract with Atalanta until 2027, so the Bergamo side will approach negotiations from a position of strength.

Koopmeiners has been playing for Atalanta since 2021. In the current season, the midfielder has scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists in 28 matches.
