A journey through time! New Orlando Pirates players get acquainted with club history

The event kicked off at Rand Stadium, the club’s training ground, where players had their first opportunity to dive into the rich history of their team.
Details: Every new player must know the legacy they are about to represent. To honor this, the club’s management led the squad to sacred ground for the Pirates—4503 Kunou Street in Orlando East—right in the heart of where it all began, at the house of club founder Bethuel Mokgosinyane.
The next stop was the Zodwa Khoza Foundation, where the players spent time with local students and heard from club legend and foundation ambassador Bashin Mahlangu. He delivered an inspiring talk on what it truly means to wear the jersey of a club like Orlando Pirates.
The gathering concluded with a friendly lunch at the Protea Hotel, where club legends such as Tebogo Moloi, Edward Motale, and former captains Lucky Lekgwathi, Happy Jele, and Innocent Maela officially welcomed the new signings into the Pirates family.
