Real Madrid finished their match against Celta Vigo with nine men, and the intensity of the post-game emotions remained sky-high for quite some time. Moreover, some people couldn’t contain themselves and rushed onto the pitch immediately after the match.
Details: According to reports from Ángel Pérez, Carlos Mejía Dávila appeared on the field. He serves as Real Madrid’s refereeing liaison. He is also the husband of Yolanda Parga, a current representative of the CTA within the RFEF.
He ran onto the pitch almost immediately after the final whistle and proceeded to criticise the referee.
Incidentally, this marked the first time in 20 years that Real ended a home league match with only nine players on the pitch.
Reminder: Eder Militao suffered an injury and was unable to leave the pitch unaided during Real Madrid's clash with Celta, a match that ended in a sensational victory for the side from Vigo.
