Very bad news today for Inter fans as the club continues its fight for the Scudetto.
Details: According to Nicolo Schira, Inter’s first-choice goalkeeper Yann Sommer has suffered a fracture of his right thumb.
Due to this injury, the Swiss goalkeeper will be out for at least three weeks. It is expected that he will return only after the international break at the end of March.
Until the end of March, Inter will face Genoa, Lazio, Napoli, Monza, Atalanta, Udinese, and play two Champions League Round of 16 matches. In all these games, Sommer’s backup Josep Martínez will take his place in goal.
Reminder: Yesterday, it was reported that three key Inter players could leave the club in the summer as free agents.
