Today, a shocking story surfaced involving a Fluminense player during preparations for the Club World Cup in the USA.

Details: The unusual incident took place at Fluminense's training base as the team geared up for the Club World Cup, currently being held in the United States of America.

According to Ge Globo, an unidentified homeless man managed to slip past security and enter the hotel where Fluminense was staying in Columbia, South Carolina. Incredibly, he ended up in the room of the Brazilian team's defender, Ignacio.

The incident came to light when the player himself realized that, despite having his room key card, the door was locked from the inside, and he couldn’t get in. He turned to the hotel staff for help, prompting security from the Marriott Columbia to intervene. Upon entering the room, staff found the homeless man calmly sleeping in the footballer’s bed.

Reports indicate that nothing was stolen and no one was harmed, but the local police are investigating the matter.

This episode once again casts a shadow over the organizational standards of this global tournament. While FIFA has yet to issue an official statement, it is believed that the security protocols established by the organizers still meet international standards.

Reminder: Ulsan falls to Fluminense and is eliminated early from the Club World Cup! How did it happen?
