A historic step for cricket. Jimmy Anderson may transfer to MLC T20

British cricketer Jimmy Anderson has become a target for the American MLC T20 league.

Details: According to BBC, the English bowling legend Jimmy Anderson may continue his career across the Atlantic. However, sources have not yet disclosed which team is interested in the player.

The bowler, who holds the record as England's all-time leading wicket-taker in Test cricket with 704 scalps—at least 100 more than anyone else—decided to retire from Test matches earlier this summer following the series against the West Indies.

The unnamed team is exploring whether Anderson might be interested in a potential deal, which could represent a historic move for the league. They may offer him up to $135,000 for his participation.

Reminder: England suffered an unexpected defeat to Sri Lanka by eight wickets. This loss marked England’s first home defeat in Test matches in 20 years.

Top Gear star Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff has been appointed as the head coach of the England men’s cricket team. He will assume his role in October for the coming year.
