On the night of Thursday, July 18, in an MLS regular season match, Philadelphia Union played at home against New England Revolution.

A truly historic event occurred during this match. With Philadelphia leading 5-1, Cavan Sullivan took to the field in the 84th minute. The significance lies in the fact that this player is only 14 years old. He is 13 days younger than Freddy Adu, thus breaking the record as the youngest footballer to ever debut in MLS.

Notably, Manchester City has signed Cavan Sullivan, so this player will eventually join the Citizens.

It is also worth mentioning that Borussia Dortmund and Germany legend Marco Reus is on the verge of transferring to the MLS club, Los Angeles Galaxy.
