A historic first: Hansi Flick makes Spanish football history

Barcelona defeated Espanyol in their previous match with a 2-0 scoreline, clinching the La Liga title ahead of schedule. Thanks to this achievement, Flick has etched his name into the history books.

Details: According to Opta, Barcelona's head coach has become the first German manager ever to win three trophies with a Spanish club. Moreover, this is Barcelona's most decorated season since the 2015/16 campaign.

For the first time since the 2008/09 season, Barcelona has also claimed all three domestic trophies—the Spanish Super Cup, the Copa del Rey, and La Liga.

Reminder: On their official page on social network X, Barcelona shared footage from the dressing room, showing the players celebrating their La Liga triumph.

Espanyol didn't allow their neighbors to celebrate the title on their pitch, turning on the sprinklers while the Barcelona players were still on the grass. As a result, all the celebrations moved to the tunnel area.
