The Real Madrid captain, while challenging for the ball, injured Yeremy Pino but ended up with a more serious injury himself, leaving the pitch on a stretcher, unlike his opponent. The severity and nature of Carvajal's injury are still unknown, though the situation appeared quite serious.
It is worth noting that after the international break, Real Madrid will face Celta away on October 19.
